I like to wander through a couple of other blogs now and then … Don’t we all? So much to see, so much inspiration.
This is my first thrill for today:

I see some Dutch chintz …. looking good!

And so much other talent. I have had vague thoughts running through my head of using Kathy Doughty’s gorgeous fabric – A Wandering Mind – for a broderie perse piece so am excited to see this work. The bird motif could be used as a medallion on its own or as part of a bigger design.

I am going to do some hand work this morning, so my mind will wander at will pondering ideas for new projects. My theory is that this is one of the beneficial effects of stitching, that it allows one’s mind to go where it will – where it wants to go, or maybe where it needs to go. Such a respite is recuperative, regenerative, restorative …. just plain really good for you!

Happy wanderings!
